Mine was a flea market purchase, but you can also find a printers tray, and seashells, on Amazon.
20 years of walking beaches and collecting shells. All sizes, shapes and kinds. There's even some shark's teeth, coral and sea glass.
An old printers tray that was found at a local flea market. Originally purchased for organizing jewelry-making tools and supplies.
A lot of thought is put into arranging and rearranging my coastal keepsakes. Some favorites stay, while others make way for newer, more interesting finds. It's truly a work in progress at all times.

I've lived in the Midwest my whole life, but always felt drawn to the hues of aqua, seafoam green, and sandy beige.
For a long time, the printers tray filled with Florida shells and memories was mounted on my workshop wall — in the basement of my Midwest home. I loved looking at it and adding new pieces from time to time, but no one else could see it, and I knew it deserved to be shared out in the open. There was just no suitable area for it upstairs.
Recently, my husband and I purchased our second home in Florida... a long-time dream come true. The full transition from Midwest to Florida will be a slow one, but each visit there gives me the chance to indulge in full-on coastal-style decorating. I couldn't wait to bring the seashell display and give it a place of honor.
It's there now and it looks spectacular!
